Go see
Grim & Fischer at the New Orleans Fringe Festival. You can still see it Friday at 9, Saturday at 5, and Sunday at 7 at Mardi Gras Zone. It might be the best thing I've seen in months. The review described it as a live-action Pixar short, and I think that's pretty accurate.
